Young People's Information is a registered charity offering free confidential counselling to young people between the ages of 11 and 25 in the Basingstoke & Deane area.

Working closely with local doctors, schools, colleges and Children's Services we offer counselling on any of the issues affecting young people, with the aim of helping them reach their full potential.

YPI is funded by grants from Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council, Hampshire County Council and the Hampshire NHS Primary Care Trust.

YPI is run by the Counselling Manager, who is assisted by a team of dedicated volunteer counsellors and supported 'behind the scenes' by a team of trustees and members.

If you are interested in making a valuable contribution to the young people of Basingstoke and Deane, there is currently an opportunity to become a trustee or member of YPI.

Membership to YPI is completely free whether you are an individual or an organisation.  By becoming a member you will be invited to members' events, entitled to have your say at our AGM, and receive regular newsletters updating you on our progress.

Membership is one of the best ways to become involved with the youth of your community without having to sacrifice too much of you time.
